Features:

Extensibility Scripting more

Extensibility scripting allows you to write complex functionality for forms using TypeScript. It can be used to:

  • Replace complex formulas Load data from external web sources
  • Use external APIs to process data
  • Adding validation to fields that is too complex to replicate using formulas (i.e., regex)

Pasword Security more

Password Security allows users to set the security levels for both Mobile Users and Secondary Logins for both the website and mobile app. The security level can be set for the whole account, or can be broken down to User Group or individual Mobile User level.

Uploading a Drop-down Source through the Media page more

The uploading and updating of CSV and XML files to be used for Data Link Drop-down controls within your Forms can now be managed via the Media page on the WorkMobile website.

Saving to Drafts from within a Sub Form (WorkMobile2.0 app only) more

When using the WorkMobile2.0 mobile app, users will now have the ability to save their Forms and Jobs to Drafts whilst they are within a Sub Form record, enabling users to save partially completed Sub Form data.

Retiring the Legacy Form Designer
The Legacy Form Designer will be no longer be accessible and all Form changes will need to made in the current Form Designer or via the API

When upgrading your WorkMobile2.0 app, we strongly recommend that you follow our Best Practice guide found here.
Sent Items Duration implemented on the WorkMobile2.0 app
The WorkMobile2.0 app will now clear the Sent folder within the app in accordance with the Sent Item Duration specified within the User Group page of the WorkMobile website.
Offline Mode implemented on the WorkMobile2.0 app
Mobile Users who have previously logged into the WorkMobile2.0 app will now be able to log in offline
Mobile Users who have forgotten or need to change their password will now be able to do this using the Forgot and Change Password features on the WorkMobile2.0 app

  • PR 24378 - Controls on Sub Forms will respect the Initial Value within the Data Editor

  • PR 24474 - Users will now be able to edit controls on a non-Mobile User Editable Sub Form (WorkMobile2.0 app)
