The introduction of Revision History Comments will now allow users who are editing uploaded data to document the changes they have made to the data. As well as giving the option to provide a Revision Comment, the name of the user who has edited the data will also be captured and stored, along with the comments, in the Revision History table.
Using Revision History Comments
In Completed Records, open the Data Editor for the record you wish to amend

After making the necessary adjustments to your record, press the Save button

Upon pressing Save, the Revision Comments pop-up will appear. At this point, the user can enter a comment of up to 500 characters, detailing the changes they have made to the data. The Revision Comment is optional and can be saved without entering a value. As well as the comment, the name of the user who is logged in and editing the data will also display in the pop-up.

Once you are satisfied with the data provided for the Revision Comment, you can press ‘Save’ to confirm this. Pressing ‘Close’ at this stage will return you to the Data Editor and allow you to continue editing data.
Editing a record will prompt an icon to appear within the Revision column in the Completed Records table. To check the Revision History of a record, select this Revision History icon.

The Revision History will show all edits made to the Form data and on the right-hand side of the table it will display the ‘Edited By’ and ‘Revision Comments’
