The previous articles have looked through the specifics of each notification type. This section will look at some of the more general usability aspects.
Notification Statuses
There are three statuses that notifications can take on, Play, Pause, and Stop.
Play is the status where notifications are running as expected, they are triggered by the completion of the form.
Stop means that the notification is disabled, no notification is triggered at any point and there will be no backlog if you re-play a notification.
When a notification is on Pause, the notification is still triggered but doesn't get sent. This means that if you pause a notification and re-play it, all the notifications that were triggered while it was paused will come through. This is the important difference to note between Pause and Stop, as it can lead to a lot of notifications being sent at once and clogging up your inbox!
You can change the status of individual notifications as well as changing the status of all the notifications using the left-hand menu buttons seen below:

Notification History
You can keep track of the notifications that are being triggered, and their sent status using the Notification History grid. This can be accessed from the Form Dashboard and the general Dashboard in the left-hand menu.

From here you can see all of the notifications, including information on their types, the recipient, the dates they were created and when they were sent. This is useful for auditing as well, as you can see the username that submitted the form which triggered the notification.
For Job Notifications you will also get the new Job ID from the Notification History page, and you can filter by type in order to find the specific notifications you're looking for. Please note - all notifications are shown on this page and you will need to filter the data in order to see specific form notifications or specific types.
